Ms. C came to me to create a custom boudoir photography experience to give to her husband as a wedding day gift. She wanted to surprise him with a boudoir photography album on the night of the wedding rehearsal. So we carefully crafted a boudoir photography experience on the outskirts of Charlotte NC that included a farmhouse, a Chevy truck, several horses and all kinds of sexy in between.
Contrary to what some people may think, boudoir photography is not just about taking sexy pictures of scantily clad women. Boudoir photography is about empowering women and showing them how beautiful they are from the inside out. My approach to my Charlotte Boudoir Photography is first about respecting the client and determining their "why". Once I understand that my approach is to create first and foremost a boudoir experience that is unique, custom, and gracefully and artistically done.
When a client first sees her finished boudoir photography album, and tears form in the corner of her eyes, that resonates with me and justifies all the hard work I put into each session.
After each session, I like to interview my boudoir clients to gauge their opinion on the experience.
Deevo: Were you nervous about the photography session prior to starting?
Ms. C: I was both nervous and excited about my session at the same time. Having never done anything like this, I had no idea what to expect. You (Deevo) of course made me feel good about the session during our interview, but the real thing is a whole different story. The nerves were completely due to the insecurities I have about my body. All of those nerves melted away as soon as stepped into the studio and Aly started hair and makeup. During the session (You) Deevo, made me feel confident, relaxed and as you showed me the images you were taking, I felt sexy and empowered. And the finished product - OMG, they are amazing!!
