Best Valentine's Day Meal in Charlotte with Miranda Mounts
Feb 13, 2020 | By: Fusion Photography
Miranda Mounts, food and exercise enthusiast, posted the first photo to her foodie Instagram account, wheretoeatcharlotte, over a year ago. What was the picture of? None other than some mouth-watering, wood-fired pizza from Inizio Pizza. That first post set her off to the races as far as Instagram goes and she now has over 13,000 people following her page to get her take on the best restaurants, food, desserts, coffee and more in Charlotte, NC. Based on her social media engagement, it's obvious that people trust her opinion and enjoy looking at her quality food pictures.
How does Fusion Photography fit in though?? Well, Fusion had the pleasure of collaborating with Miranda for Fahrenheit Restaurant, arguably one of the best places for a nice meal and bests cityscape views in Charlotte. For the collab, we got to test out their 12-course Valentine's Day meal, which will be available to dinner guests on vday, while taking pics of Miranda eating and shooting copious video of the amazing chef and staff behind the scene. The meal did not disappoint and neither did hanging out with the food goddess herself - talk about one of the best "workdays" ever!

If you're a foodie and into the overall Charlotte scene, there's no doubt you know about Fahrenheit Restaurant. You can't mention Fahrenheit though without talking about the genius behind it all - Chef Rocco Whalen. Chef Whalen resides from Cleveland, OH which is where he learned to cook and eventually started his restaurant and food truck empire. On top of the Charlotte Fahrenheit location, he also operates a Fahrenheit in Cleveland along with food trucks and Rosie & Rocco's. Not only is his restaurant the best spot for a Valentine's Day, and really any meal, in Charlotte, but the same can be said for his Cleveland spots.
Fahrenheit Restaurant in Charlotte is situated above the Skye Condos at 222 South Caldwell Street on the 21st Floor. The restaurant features amazing views of the city and "inventive new American cuisine". The menu features dishes such as: Springer Mountain Farms Coal Roasted Chicken Mac and Cheese, Grilled Maine Diver Sea Scallops, Black Pepper Crusted Ahi, and more. The drink list is just as impressive with wine, crafted cocktails and beers that are locally sourced. With the roof location, the restaurant also features fire pits, a social pool, and a seasonal herb garden - again, amazing food AND views! Fahrenheit is about the atmosphere and vibe as a whole.
As mentioned as part of the collab, we got to try out their special Valetine's Day dinner which will only be available the day of. No doubt, it will be the best vday meal in town. All you have to hear is 12-courses and you're sold, right? The pictures of the meal below will speak for themselves; there is really no explanation necessary nor can I give away too many secrets. All I can say is, book your table and if you can't make it for Valentine's Day, Rocco and Fahrenheit serves delicious meals on a daily basis that are well worth the try!
